Chichester Cathedral has unveiled its plans for Advent and Christmas, inviting the Chichester community and beyond to come together in celebration, responding to the theme of: 'The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it' (John 1.5).

A festive programme of services, music, visual arts and digital experiences will respond to the theme, selected by the Dean of Chichester, the Very Reverend Stephen Waine.

On top of the Cathedral's schedule of regular services, which all are invited to join, they are hosting a number of special services for Advent and Christmas.

The history of art inside Chichester Cathedral spans almost as long a period of time as the history of the building itself. In-line with this tradition, the Cathedral is thrilled to present an exciting combination of exhibitions to mark the festive season such as Bruce Munro's Field of Blooms and The Chichester Nativity Created by Curator Jacquiline Creswell, and Artist and Photographer Ash Mills.
