A new digital series of Chichester Festival Theatre's popular Facing The Music interviews sees five distinguished performers joining writer and broadcaster Edward Seckerson to discuss their lives in musical theatre, illustrated by some treasured recordings. The interviews will be streamed in February and March.
features much-loved performer Patricia Routledge, whose career at
Chichester spans five decades; Giles Terera, whose extensive
musical credits include winning the 2018 Olivier Award for his performance as
Aaron Burr in Hamilton; the multi award-winning Imelda Staunton, whose Olivier-winning
performances in Sweeney Todd and Gypsy at Chichester later transferred to the West End; and Philip
Quast, who appeared in the original London production of Sondheim's Sunday
in the Park with George and is internationally
renowned for his performance as Javert in Les Misérables. Alongside
these, we'll be celebrating Sheila Hancock's recent Damehood by offering
