Half Term Activities: Treasured Objects

Wrap up warm and head to the Museum for five days of creative half-term family activities from Monday 17 to Friday 21 February 2020, with a theme Treasured Objects.

From make and take activities to creative crafts activities vary daily, so there is always something new to see and to try! Activities include: Making a simple picture frame, creating a collage badge, drawing a favourite item for a gallery, button art, playing with traditional toys, face painting and a trail to find some treasured objects around the Museum.

Most activities are included in the admission price (free for Annual Members) but some activities ask for donations these are clearly marked on the daily flyer, which will be posted on this page the evening before.

Wet weather will not spoil play as most activities are under cover. Activities run from 11am-3pm for accompanied children. Please wear clothes and shoes that are suitable for playing outdoors.

The activities complement the Peoples Show, which runs from 13 February to 11 May 2020.

Dogs on leads are welcome and there is ample free parking.

Regular admission charges apply and the Museum will open at 10.30am and close at 4.00pm.
