On 28th June 1919, the Treaty of Versailles was signed, officially ending World War 1. To mark the 100 years anniversary, we're launching our West Sussex First World War Learning Progamme, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Commemorate your local community and its World War 1 history with this completely free programme focused on local history. This programme runs from 22nd June until 10th July and every event and talk in the programme is completely free!

In Chichester, come and discover the history of Graylingwell War Hospital or piece together Chichester's World War 1 history in talks by experts. Looking for a fun family day out? Join the Novium Museum for their From Trenches to Treaties Family Day with activites for all ages. Please see the full programme at www.aspiresussex.org.uk/ww1/.
