Bed and Breakfast
Canon Lane is a beautifully restored former archdeaconry, offering eight bedrooms. All bedrooms are en-suite and offer stunning views of the Cathedral or gardens. There are four large double or twin rooms and three standard double rooms located on the first floor and a single room with wheelchair access on the ground floor (click here for access details). Breakfast is available and is served in the dining room overlooking the private, walled garden. All our products are locally sourced and we use fair trade produce where possible. Self-catering
The Cathedral also has two self-catering options, a
sympathetically restored two bedroom apartment at Canon Gate located above the historic
gateway to the Cathedral Close. The accommodation comprises of a dual aspect
living room with exposed beams and arched windows - formerly the chamber of the
Bishop's Court of Pie Powder during the 17th century, a well equipped kitchen
and a double shower room.
2 St Faith's is a beautifully restored Georgian Grade II
listed house, conveniently located on the Cathedral Green. Formerly on the site
of the historic St Faith's Chapel the accommodation comprises of a spacious
living/dining room, four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen.
