As part of a series of initiatives aimed at getting Chichester back to business and encouraging visitors to the city, Chichester BID are launching a free trail celebrating the key workers who have fought throughout this pandemic to keep us healthy and our essential services going.

From Monday 10 August to Sunday 6 September the public are invited to take part in this family-friendly activity to find ten figurines dressed as key workers, which will be featured in window displays across the city centre. The figures will represent the many key workers who have helped keep our community safe, including nurses, firefighters and delivery drivers.

The free trail has been specially designed for the whole family to enjoy and ensures social distancing guidelines can be safely adhered to at all times.

The trail can be downloaded from the new LoyalFree city centre app which showcases many of the wonderful things Chichester has to offer including exclusive deals, events and tourism information, to help make the most of any visit to the city this summer.

All completed trails will be entered into a prize draw and two winners will be selected at random to win an Apple iPad Mini.

Jeanette Hockley, Operations Manager for Chichester BID, comments: Our interactive trails have always been popular and are a great way of encouraging people into the city centre to support our local businesses, some of which have been hit the hardest due to closures during lockdown. This is a particularly special trail as it is our way of celebrating the many invaluable key workers, which include shop staff and teachers as well as those working for the NHS and emergency services.

To take part in the trail download the LoyalFree App and visit the Tours & Trails section. Trail forms can also be downloaded from www.chichesterbid.co.uk or can be found at participating trail locations.
