Anne Hollis, local volunteer and course organiser for the WEA, is national winner of Impact In Your Local Community award 2019 for the Workers Educational Association. Anne is responsible for local Reaching Out programme for vulnerable adults, providing classes for people who may have physical difficulties or need special support. The classes are very popular and include woodland activities, music, exercise, art, dance, drama, and jewellery making, developing skills while providing the environment for participants to make friends.

Local art tutor, Frank Ferrie, is an inspiring teacher as well as being a successful artist himself. He has been named as Outstanding Tutor 2019 by the WEA. Frank provides Reaching Out classes for the Chichester and Bognor Regis branches as well as a Friday painting class as part of the Chichester general programme. Students find him inspiring and feel encouraged to try new techniques.
